the island of Taiwan (Wikipedia). Never in my wildest dream I would be stepping this country full of interesting colors and different cultures. Thanks to my participation in Siddhartha the musical. I was able to explore and experience the food, culture, people and adventure in this lovely country.
I have almost 2000 pretty decent photos on my WD hard drive for this entire trip that I may not be able to post here ( sorry for that ). But I'll be sharing to ya'll interesting photos which will give you the idea of what is Taiwan and how the people there live and eat. For two weeks of my stay in Taiwan I was able to grasp some good stories about their land and how this country evolve which requires too much of writing and words haha. So I maybe sharing only the most important relevant stories. This country has five type of religion and the larger one would be Buddhism that has 8,086,000 or 35.1% of followers which adds to my love in this country. Mainly because they're vegetarians! And I love veggies than meats but I'm not vegetarian ha hihi confusing.
We stayed most of the time in Kaohsiung which is one of the five special municipalities in Taiwan (Wikipedia). It is where we performed and stayed for the whole duration of our trip. On our rest days we would have time to go out around town and explore the city.
I have to say that this is a dream come true for me! To perform abroad. Back when I was a kid and starting to build my own dreams. I would always look up to my sister who was working in Japan as a cultural performer for different luxurious hotel. Working for passion! From then on, I would always dream of working abroad as a performer too. But as the years go by it turns out differently until this musical production gave me the opportunity to experience what it feels like performing abroad.
