Rented a Van
We planned for this trip three months ago when my cousin, who works abroad, planned to visit Surigao. We were all thrilled for the adventure including me because it will be the very first time that we will be going out of Davao for adventure composed of cousins. Ever since we were kids we used to have a family outings but only within Davao. So the trip for us was very memorable.
Our journey began in Davao. We left the City around 4am by van , passed by different municipalities and had a quick stop over in a place, which I forgot the name, for breakfast and off our way to Bislig city where the famous falls is located. Our travel time was five hours and we have arrived in Tinuy-an falls around 9am. I was still a bit groggy when we got there since the road we passed by were a bit bumpy and I have a vertigo. So wasn't feeling good when we got there but was trying to ignore my dizziness. Upon arriving in the area and saw the falls I got hyped and went rush on changing my outfit for my look which you will see on a separate post :-)
The whole place itself is really refreshing. It was running 35 degrees at that time and the splash of the water from the falls helps to give a cool atmosphere in the whole area. After a few shots of my outfit and taking photos and videos of the area we went up to the top part of the falls to see the aerial view. The way going up to the top was quite difficult and steep. But when we got there we were in total awe of the beauty of the entire place. I felt like I was in a different country exploring the jungle of Africa. I took some few shots and tried the water. The current of the water was really strong and it felt like someone is massaging my back. We were just really careful of our steps because the stones were really slippery. I would advised for you to buy a slipper or sandal that can used for trekking and slippery areas. We only stayed in Tinuy-an for about two hours so that we can move to Enchanted river, which is an hour away from Bislig City,to catch the feeding time of fishes around 12:00pm.

Honestly, I wouldn't really know the alternative routes of going to Bislig City since we rented a van coming from Davao. But I got some information from my friends who have been there and took alternatives routes.
Manila-Butuan:
There's a direct flight Manila-Butuan via Cebu Pacific
Ride a bus named "bachelor express" with the signage Mangagoy. Travel time would be 3-4hours. When you get to the terminal of Mangagoy, you can hire a tricycle or single motorcycle which in local they call it "habal-habal". The price would also depend on your haggle style :-)
Cebu-Butuan:
Cebu Pacific direct flight Cebu-Butuan
Same route when you get to Butuan if you're coming from Manila
Davao-Mangagoy
From what I know is there's no direct bus from Davao-Mangagoy so you would have to take the long route which is Davao-Butuan (travel time 7-8hours) then Butuan-Mangagoy for 3-4hours. Yeah looooong route.
