When sky meets art. Few days ago my friends decided to go to the beach for a quick get away and they dragged me to quick escapade. Cebu is known for beautiful beaches and when you talk about accessibility of beach resorts you can find it in Mactan, Cebu, just a few minutes away from the airport. We were supposed to do an island hopping but it was Sunday and most of the boats were full already by Korean tourists. So we have no choice but to look for a nearby resorts. And we found this Hadsan Cove resort which was less crowd and offers scenic view of the Mactan beach. For this trip, I wore a tank top from Zara http://www.zara.com/ph/ which is a perfect top to wear in summer. Then match it with an orange cap and a sunglass Ray-ban http://www.ray-ban.com/International/. I had a wonderful beachy, Lol experience that day. It's been freaking hot lately that I couldn't bare the heat of summer so I looked for an outfit that is something comftable yet stylish. So for this outfit, I picked a tank top from Penshoppe www.penshoppe.com, pants from Uniqlo www.uniqlo.com/ph and pair with a sunglass from Ray-Ban www.ray-ban.com/ to match my outfit. Sunglass is very important because it gives an instant glam, right! For summer, you have to pick colors that will lessen the heat effect . Sando's are must haves tank tops for summer. Hey guys! For the past two weeks I've been running errands with a lot of things that includes this video-making for our upcoming summer party. The company I work for decided to include a summer video competition for the said event. I was soooo excited to help with the video making but was absolutely unsure of how do we go about it considering that we only few days left before the deadline. Not to mentioned, we work everyday during daytime. Until we decided to just make the video for one whole day on our rest day with only few people. Call time was 8am, Saturday. No venue yet or story board to follow. We're only armed with props and my camera. Unsure of who are going to participate. I was trying to play cool with it but honestly I was disoriented with the whole idea knowing that we're going to make the video unprepared. We met at Bo's Coffee and started talking about the venue. Closest venue from our office were not available so we just went to this place called "golden haven" which most of us haven't been to and we don't even know if we can take our shots there. Little did I know, it is a cemetery! I'm tasked to direct the video and I have no idea at that time what will be the sequence. All I have in mind was since it's summer I wanted to have shot of a person jumping with a sky full of clouds in the background and bubbles since the theme of the party would be bubbles. Group of friends who plays frisbee, skating, waterguns, road trip and lastly plunging into the pool. Those were the only idea that I have and the rest will be a history. Luckily, one of my supervisor who's also into photography came and helped me shooting the scenes. So the whole shebangs started. We took the video around 10:30am and it was freaaaaakingly hot! Alam mo yung tipong nangamuy araw kami in just a few minutes, Lol. Good thing my supervisor brought with her a sunblock, whew really saved my day from sunburn (By the way guyz, have you heard about new Nivea sunblock? I'll talk more of that in a few weeks). So going back, we took shots of whatever we can think of and just go along with it. We were able to finish half of the scene except the pool one. Since our venue was no where near a pool resort. We decided to take a short break and took our lunch. After we took our lunch we started looking for pool where we can film the pool scene. Apparently, we end up with nothing waaaaaaa! We were able to find one but we were forced to leave hahaha since we were not using proper swim wear because remember we're not prepared for anything at all! So we packed up and decided to continue the pool scene on Monday since I was not available on Sunday due to my commitment for blog event. Then come Monday, we took the shot in the pool finally at the family park and then I only have two days for post production before the deadline of submission, Wednesday! I'm just thankful to myself for staying positive about finishing the video post production in two nights only. Finally, we were able to submit the entry on the day of submission, whew :-) It was a crazy experience for everyone but I found it very spontaneous and fun which actually manifest in the video. For now, I can't share the video here yet because it was posted on facebook through our company's official fan page. But if you'd like to help me please feel free to click this link and like the video please please please, Lol. Seriously, help me like the video. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=513420778786212&set=vb.200582036736756&&theater

Two weeks ago, I announced the Lakwatsa sa sugbo 2014 event that I'll be participating which most of my friends and readers kept asking me about it so here it is! Last Sunday, I was on a special tour around Cebu together with other bloggers and photographers. It was really a historical trip with a lot of inputs from the family of tour guides, the Saynes family. A city tour with a family of tour guides, cool right! I can vividly remember, when I was in grade school, how I envied most of my classmates who can afford to participate to an educational trip in Cebu City. I came from Mindanao so it's a big deal for me to join such trip and see the place for myself which I can only see from my history book. I'm really lucky to be part of this trip as I get to experience a real Cebu tour. Part of our itinerary were Taoist temple, Cebu heritage monument, a visit to Magellan's cross, Alegre guitar factory then visiting Mactan Shrine Park in Lapu-Lapu City. I'm so excited to share all the photos I've taken during the tour so feel free to browse the photos below. And oh, forgive me for another episode of photo flooding I just couldn't help not to share almost all the photos from my archive.

I remember when I was a kid whenever our relatives from the US would contact us to ask where Pearl Farm is we couldn't really give exact information as to where it is simply because we haven't been there yet. It's such a shame that we used to live in a city near the famous tourist spot in Davao but have not check the place. Luckily, when my son had his blessing in Davao we had a chance to visit this beautiful known tourist spot in the city. Apparently, we couldn't stay for an overnight at the resort since we have an early flight back to Cebu the following day. So we decided to have a day tour only. Our first task was to buy a day tour pass from their sales office located in Abreeza, Ayala Mall Davao adjacent mall on SM Lanang. The first sales person we talked to wasn't that welcoming to answer our queries. My wife and I felt like we were inconveniencing her by asking just a general question on what are included in the day tour package. In the past, I would really complain right there and then if I feel like the service I'm getting isn't that satisfying but I don't want to spoil our excitement at that time so I let it pass and walked out of the office to withdraw from an atm for cash since we don't want to use our credit card for personal reason. Yes they accepts credit cards too. After we got our cash we went back to the sales office and we were surprised to see another person on the front desk. She was smiling and very accommodating contrast to the first person we talked with. When we asked her where was the representative before her she said her shift was done. My wife and I looked into each other (well it make sense why the previous representative wasn't that welcoming maybe she was just excited to go out of the office). I mentioned anyway to the representative who assisted us about the attitude that we experienced from the previous rep. She said she's going to take note of it and let the manager know, fair enough. We didn't want to push further the issue since we don't want to dwell on it. So we paid for 2,200 for each person. According to their site weekdays rate for day tour is P1,850/person and P2,250/person during holidays and weekends. The package day tour includes:
Oooh La La my favorite brand TopShop TopMan launched its new season last Friday at Ayala Center, Cebu. Featuring Manila's top fashion bloggers Lisa Kahayun and David Guison together with other bloggers from Cebu including the media. The launched of new season was very successful. Most fashion bloggers of Cebu and fashion fanatics (that includes me) were really happy to see the newly released clothing from the store (most specially for the men! ). There were a lot of cool details during the event, from the sumptuous sweets given ,which by the way, reached my sugar quota for the year. Cool music played by a dj, a photobooth where you can take a picture of yourself right from your cellphone camera, put a hashtag of TopShopTopMan and voila! You have your photo printed in a polaroid style, really cool huh! Plus the most awaited announcement of the winner of worth ten thousand shopping spree from TopShop TopMan! Sadly, I didn't won the shopping spree but it's ok I'm pretty sure Topshop has more in store for us fashion fanatics. Feel free to browse the photos below for more info on what happened during the event.
I'm so excited to taste and feel the summer by going to the beach. Have you started your summer journey yet? If yes, then kindly please share to me your experience by leaving your comments. I'd love to hear from you :-) Hey guys! I'm back with full force to blog the two events I've attended last weekend. Yes event after an event! I couldn't believe I was able to manage attending two parties running on the the same day on the same time! You know when it's month of March, either you attend a graduation party or other occasions. The first party was for my good friend Jayneil who just graduated "cum laude" from St. Theresa's college (on a separate blog pos titled "Flying Colors"t). Following the birthday bash of another good friend John. Not to mentioned, each party has it's own theme and dress code. So you can just imagine the costume change happened in between the parties. The venue though for the said events were held separately. It would've been better if it was held on the same venue so I can just easily hop Lol kidding aside. I'm not going to type more words though I'll just let the photos do the talking for me. Sorry again for yet another flooding of photos. You know me when I really enjoyed the occasion or place I've been to, I'll bombard more photos and then details.
It's raining March but I hope for those of you who is out for a summer escapade still enjoys the month. Any plan for summer getaway? I'd like to hear from you! You may click on the comments above to share your plans. Hello there! If you've been following me on instagram you might have seen the photos I've uploaded last Saturday which confuses some of my friends in facebook as to where I was. Well basically, I've attended two celebrations for two of my closest friend on the same day. It was craazy! But I absolutely had fun! The first occasion was for the graduation party of my good friend Jayneil. ,who, by the way graduated from St. Theresa's College with flying colors. Cum Laude lang naman! I'm super proud of this lady because she's not only academically exceptional her talent is also unbelievable! I've been with her in the US last year when we had a show in Los Angeles for a month and all of us had no clue that she was about to graduate with a medal. Despite her absence from the class for almost a month she was still able to graduate getting the cum laude title and other special awards. I was there during the graduation ceremony and I felt like a proud parent too! Congratulations again Jayneil Louise Enriquez!
