The Sound of His Breathing | Sorting through the worries in my head Furious with the creaking of the bed I toss and I turn And I yearn and yearn For answers to the questions of life Wondering why I can’t be a good wife And I hear his heavy breathing… Rhythmic and slow And I know I know… He is deep in his sleep And I just want to weep I close my eyes tight Hoping all will be right My heart whispers a prayer To God who’s always there “God…life is a mystery Sometimes it’s beyond me Where will it end? What’s behind the bend? Please grant this one plea Please….listen to me… |

Summerfrolic is an annual event in Dahican beach located in Mati City, Davao Oriental. A two-night event showcasing the club music from both local and international DJ. It's a non-stop party starting 6pm till morning. I have been to many huge parties and this Summerfrolic is by far the most grandest, wild and fun party ever! I have witnessed a lot of DJ who have been playing here and abroad. It really felt like going to a music festival. There was non-stop rain effect, fire, confettis, foam, color dash and fireworks. It was overwhelming! The photos you'll see below shows the first night of our Summerfrolic event. The second night will be posted separately.
How are yous doing? Feel free to share your summer experience by clicking the comment above. I thought that Dahican beach in Mati is just another overrated place but I'm definitely wrong. Dahican beach is very unique and beautiful. You get a white sand and a beach where you can do activities like surfing and skim boarding. If you want to just chill while looking on the big waves smelling the aroma of the beach then this is definitely the right place. The Summerfrolic event, which I will be sharing later on this blog, transform this place from laid back to a party haven. This is definitely a place you've wanted to visit for your summer vacay. Watch out for more photos and details! Hey how's your summer? Don't be shy, start sharing it by clicking on the comment above. The Morning after DarkAaaaah Summer! I'm forever baby of summer. I've been away for awhile now and I have a lot of backlogs from my recent summer vacay. I couldn't wait to share all the photos and details about my Summerfrolic experience at Dahican beach in Mati City, Davao Oriental. First of, let me say goooood summer to everyone! I hope you're all having a blast. Few months ago my cousin who works abroad and my travel buddy during summer asked me to join the summerfrolic party in Mindanao. I've been raving about this annual party in Dahican beach because of its good reviews from my fellow bloggers in Mindanao. It's been awhile since I last attended this kind of party. It's not about sign of aging! Let me correct that, I just have a lot of priorities now that I'm married.Defensive! hahaha. Dahican beach is the surfing capital in Davao Oriental. The place itself offers a lot of activities and beautiful views. Plus the road going to Mati is just so breath taking. Mati City is just 2-3 hours away by private car from Davao City proper and 5 hours by bus and less than 5 hours by van ( I will be sharing more details below ). We hired a van a month before and reserved a local house for very obvious reason, convenience. I was with my wife and my boy so I have to make sure that everything is ready and they will feel comfort while travelling. We left Davao almost 11am, dropped by in Sm Lanang to buy sunblock and whatnot then off our way to Mati. We arrived in Mati City proper around 3pm. FYI Davao City implements 60 kilometers per hour so ETA are just ETA ( estimated time of arrival ). On our way, we saw this famous tourist spot, the so called sleeping dinosaur ( look on the photo below to find out why it's called the sleeping dinosaur ). When we got to Mati we looked for a restaurant where we can take our late lunch. To my surprise, they have my favorite resto Mandarin tea garden. Our tummies were growling for food so we didn't bothered looking for any local restos. We just wanted to sip a warm soup and eat asap. After eating, we waited the contact person for the local house where we are going to stay. We also went to Lanes hotel nearby to get our baller id as our ticket to summerfrolic. We left Mati city around 6:00 pm and arrived in Dahican beach around 6:30pm. Yes, Dahican beach is still 30 minutes away from Mati city proper. It was dark already when we got there so we didn't have the chance to the see the beach. When we arrived in the local house, which was a few blocks away from summerfrolic venue, I was surprised when I learned that it is owned by the renowned local surfers in Mati, the Amihan boys, The place itself is ideal for barkada but there's also downside of it which I will share later in this blog so keep checking. For now, I'll share some of the photos on our first day. The summerfrolic event will be on a separate post. PART TWO OF THIS BLOG WILL BE POSTED VERY SOON SO KEEP CHECKING :-)
The CONTACT DETAILS of the van and the house will be posted on the part two of this blog. I can vividly remember, my first few clients in my photography business were mostly babies. Let me reveal, that part of the reason I went back to photography, after I stopped from college, was when my wife got pregnant. I wanted to capture all the memories. Call me sentimental but memories are my only treasure. Things in this world are nothing but a mere accessories to me.Photos are more important because they're always part of our memories which we can bring for the rest of our lives. Thanks to digital age it's so easy to save photos and keep them everywhere you go. Ok enough from me, I am just very happy that I'm the one who took the pre photo shoot for baby Czarinas' upcoming birthday celebration this coming April 10. The photo shoot happened in Montebello Hotel Cebu located in Banilad at the back of Country Mall. I'm very thankful to my tita Eloi who recommended me to her dear friend Ate Gladys who's the mother of baby Czarina. I couldn't wait to share some of the photos. Feel free to browse! Hey guys! In the coming weeks I'll be very busy for my summer escapade! Keep checking my blog for more details. Happy Summer! BTSHey guys! I'm back to share the photos from the recent photo shoot of my dear friend and my office mate Bea. I'm so happy to do the shoot for her. Bea is a cosplayer herself and her personality is quite intriguing so I knew her photos will be exceptional Lately, I've been very busy juggling my time between work and theater rehearsals so doing photo shoots in between would be my break from my chaotic schedule.Without further ado, here are the photos of Bea. Be sure to check my blog to keep updated :-) It's summer time guys! Any plans? Let me hear from you, just leave your comments :-) BTSTwo weeks ago, I became one of the judges for Cebu K-pop Icon Hunt held in J center mall. Yes, this post is a long due because of my non stop theater rehearsals and photo shoots. Sorry guys for not posting lately but I assure to all of you that I will keep you updated of my whereabouts and whatnot kahit medyo late :-). Anyway highways, when a friend of mine Kat Estrada asked me to judge for the said competition I instantly said yes because just like any k-pop fan around the world who were infected by their popularity, I'm also a big fan of their song and fashion even before k-pop became big in the Philippines. The competition started around 4:30pm and everyone was so hype with every performances of each group. I was oooing and woowing all the time. Most of them were colorful and very energetic. The only problem I had was the difficulty of giving scores because they're all so good! I really had fun! The entire event made me reminisce my experience in Macau when I met 2ne1 and other k-pop artist during the MNET music awards back in 2010. Oh yes! I was there in Macau during that time.
I'm back to share my FOODGASM experience at Gaslamp resto. This newly opened rustic inspired restaurant in the metro Cebu is making buzz for serving delicious food. but veeeeery affordable! The place itself is really perfect for hangout or a simple date with your love one. They also serve beer and hard liquor for drinks. I highly recommended this restaurant to everyone. Do check out their place! From right: Jephunee Flores ( a friend of mine who runs a lifestyle blog KiatCebu.com ), Joseph Pat ( a friend of mine and one of the owner of Gaslamp ). Note: the photos below are not mine. I just grabbed it from the official facebook page of the said resto. You may visit their Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/GaslampGastropub/timeline
Contact: 0932 859 4643 Address: 92 Juana Osmena, Cebu City Almost adjacent to Big Tom's Charboiled Burger along Escario road Hey guyz! As you know ,month of February is not only a month to celebrate Valentine but it's also the month of Chinese new year. Last Wednesday, I celebrated the Chinese new year at the Chu un temple located in V. Rama Cebu. Together with my co actors in the upcoming Siddhartha the Opera musical show, we attended the festive celebration to showcase our talents and entertain the guests. It was a colorful night for everyone and ended with a beautiful fireworks. Once again, this post will contain tons of photos. Kung Hei Fatchoi to everyone!
Keep checking my blog for more adventures and events! :-) I'm back! I know, I know I owe you guys, my readers, big time. I have not been sharing of my whereabouts in this blog for the past couple of months. Being a blogger takes a lot of responsibilities because you're somehow becoming an influence to many. A lot of you knows that i always share fun and positive things about me. But for the past months I went through depression. I wasn't finding myself for so many reason. No one knows of what I was going through until now. I didn't have the courage to tell at that time because I was trying to protect the people around me. I didn't want anyone to worry about my situation. I feel like I wanted to be an open book this time because I know I'm not the only one who went through that stage. There are some of you now who maybe going through depression but you can't just admit it. Point being is, you don't have to be afraid to admit to yourself that you're going through a lot emotionally because you're not alone. Piece of advise, share your situation to your love ones and ask for enlightenment through your prayers. It may sound cliche but it's very effective way for you to survive depression. Now I'm proud to be back and happy to continue my journey here in this blog. Let me say I soooooooooooo miss you guys! Thank you for always visiting this blog. It means a lot to me. Moving forward..................................................................................... I'm so ecstatic to share my recent visit to the temple of Leah. The ongoing construction of this beautiful attraction already made news in the entire country even if it's not yet done. Luckily, it's already open to the public for free so we had the chance to visit the place and did some photo shoots. Just to share a little background, this Greek mythology inspired multi million project is made possible by Teodorico Adarna , grandfather of Philippine celebrity Ellen Adarna, as a tribute to his beloved deceased wife Leah Villa Albino-Adarna. We were so enticed by the place that we really braved the heat of the sun just to do some photo shoots. It's really a place for photo enthusiast like me. Since I was away for awhile I will bombard you guys with tons of photos hahaha. Enjoy! Next Post will be my Kung Heif Fatchoy experience! See ya!
